Re: The Most Important Skill To Develop For the Entry & Future Kite Foiler

Somebody put a "trotter" Chinese knock off one wheel in my garage and it was awesome!. But the actual "onewheel" is waaaaayyyy better. Ain't got the dough for that though. Funny that the Chinese knockoff is good enough to make you know that you need the real thing to really be happy. Good stuff from...

Re: Ozone Edge for beginners

Kite speed should match board speed. The big Edge would better match a spleene door ridden fast. If the kite flies faster than the board it will constantly find the edge of the window and lose power. So a heavy beginner on a chubby surfboard is going to go slow. You need a big grunty kite that sits...

Re: Foil - wave riding

.....As long as it's wind powered and not attached to the board. So out of my league a bit here on strapless (front hook only ok, but strange foils are a big challenge strapless hydrofoiling). But love the "fashion" of "not being connected to the board. I used to do that. Don't do anymore. I now pr...

There's always a point when enough is enough.
That's when the COREporation gets your money within a few euro's of what you would have paid as a maximum anyway.

Re: two board quiver

I am trying to keep my board quiver to two. A hydrofoil is 2 boards in itself, with regards to how much space it takes up. So don't think you are getting away with space savings and simplicity by making a hydrofoil your second board. And technically, I only have the Liquid Force "Kitefish" which I ...

Re: Enter the world of Duotone

Can't help but wonder if you have any concept of how much of the world is made up of NPC's that love this video. I'd guess you and me are in a group that only makes up about 5% of the buying public. My comment wasn't about the video, but about the fact that you can't take a dump these days without ...

Re: Ozone Edge for beginners

.....low wind riding is all about board speed / apparent wind. Yup, part of my whole thing against volume in a kitesurfboard. No need to utilize displacement to keep you up when you absolutely want to avoid slowing to a displacement speed at all cost. You still need to pussyloop them with a pop for...

Re: Foil - wave riding

This thread is the best ever at exposing the wide range of kiteboarder mentality/attitude. For sure it can be done but you'd be happier on a regular surfboard. The "I know best for me and you". ....I am not into constraining what I ride before I have even tried it. We all have preferences..personall...
