Re: Wash or not wash your kites

Ive been kiting for 17 years and never washed a kite or even heard of someone doing it. I guess if a bird pooped on it or you legitimately rolled it in mud you should rinse it. The only thing I am dogmatic about is to never store a kite more than a few days in the bag wet because I assume it would m...

Re: Expanding my quiver with Fuels

Since you are "more into freestyle and jumps": DO NOT GET A QUIVER OF FUELS.

Re: Expanding my quiver with Fuels

I used to own fuels in the 2000's, they are great if you are strict advanced wake-style, very niche kite.

Re: Remora Suction Foil Mount

This is genius! I will seriously buy one. You have the potential to steal much of the market from the FoilMount.

Re: Airush Ultra: one strut kite that meets expectations of a ram air lover

Xtream, that was a great session, everyone is on kiteforum LOL Rode it the next two days also at 62nd, super fun sessions and bigger waves! MikeBirt, I do longer lines but never thinner lines, good thinking for light winds Seabizzle, for sure your comments are spot on, I'm surprised noone has really...

Re: Airush Ultra: one strut kite that meets expectations of a ram air lover

SURF and TT Review: 2018 9m ultra. 17-21 knots side-onshore wind, 2-3 foot waves, 80kg rider, 20m lines, jimmy lewis surfboard and then a crazyfly carbon TT. Very powerful for it's size, I was on the 9m and everyone else on 12ms (riding TT). Again it's a super fast kite and flies very close to edge ...

Re: Kiting locations near Bal Harbor Miami FL

Multiple spots nearby, check kitespots on this site. I've kited all around there and it's awesome for foiling (and TT if there's wind). I personally would recommend riding Dania beach, long foil rides in a nature preserve without lots of people around. Otherwise if you want to get a ticket for Crand...

Re: Airush Ultra: one strut kite that meets expectations of a ram air lover

FOILING REVIEW: Rode the 9m 2018 ultra today on high aspect foil in 8-14knots today 80kg, 25m lines. First time flying it. Kite: Very light and well constructed kite. Very high quality, classic Airush. Looks really small but I guess it's just a regular 9m. Nice bumpers and stitching, inflates in 30 ...

Re: North Neo vs Cabrinha Drifter for wave/freeride

I have ridden all of those wave kites and I think the reo is the best. But it sounds like you want something freeride so don't get any of them. Get a 12m freeride kite for those winds.
