Ok - makes sense. I have to say fully auto untwisting is a great feature and the reason I use the Reedin Dreamstick X. Did try the Click Bar but find the centre PU cover sticks too much during turning meaning the bar position gets stuck - this doesn’t seem to be an issue with the Dreamstick X for so...

I can’t see any indication that untwisting on the new Trust bar is any different from the old one, looks like it still needs to be done manually. They’ve just updated the bearings a bit. I’d be surprised if they untwist automatically?

I guess it’s all a compromise. Hopefully will get used to them as in other ways they’re awesome kites. Looking forward to trying on 22m lines.

Insofar as I can tell, low end grunt is definitely not a problem for them! I’m lighter than you so can’t comment on the wind range you asked for but I’m general comparison I’d say they’ve the best low end power I’ve experienced other than with a dedicated light wind kite.

I haven’t compared hence the question, but I find the 13m Juice to be an excellent light wind kite, stays in the air in the lightest of winds and with a light wind board I can have fun from 10 knots or just under. I think the downwind pull actually helps with jumping as you’ve always got something to edge against when sending the kite, so for jumping it’s great. Kite are new. I had thought about trying them on 22m lines to be honest so that’s a useful suggestion. Definitely feel more powerful than equivalent F-one Bandit.

For now I’m expecting to be going to a size smaller than usual in most conditions. I’d like to get used to the general feel as in do many other ways it’s an awesome kite, especially with respect to aerial stuff, grabs and board offs etc, plus loads of other basic tricks like hand drags and darkslide...
