Re: Ride Engine Direct Connection system - opinions?

Not sure what video you’re referring to. I can’t see any way the Unity spreader would open unintentionally and I’ve certainly crashed plenty of times with it! Compared to above Prolimit description: it’s not easy to undo, it takes effort. Haven’t seen the Prolimit but I assume they are completely di...

Re: Ride Engine Direct Connection system - opinions?

Ride engine one is not like that - in fact once locked in it’s sometimes a bit hard to undo in winter with cold hands as it snaps in very firmly.

Re: Ride Engine Direct Connection system - opinions?

The adjustment system at each side locks down pretty hard and also has a neoprene cover so the back of it doesn’t stick out. I’d be very surprised if this could come loose in any sort of crash.

Re: Ride Engine Direct Connection system - opinions?

I have a Ride Engine Elite harness with the unity spreader and extra neoprene pad thingy.
Holding up great after about 3 years. No issues at all and the best adjustment / attachment system I’ve used.

Re: Reedin Supermodel 3 - help

For anyone still interested I’m really warming to these kites with more use, and am really getting on well with 22m lines. Seems to me the perfect blend of slightly more direct handling and easier control of power, and no compromise on lift and float that I can tell - I’m still beating my height rec...

Re: DT's Iron Heart VI - opinions? + can it be transplanted to 2018-2022 bars?

Ok - makes sense. I have to say fully auto untwisting is a great feature and the reason I use the Reedin Dreamstick X. Did try the Click Bar but find the centre PU cover sticks too much during turning meaning the bar position gets stuck - this doesn’t seem to be an issue with the Dreamstick X for so...

I can’t see any indication that untwisting on the new Trust bar is any different from the old one, looks like it still needs to be done manually. They’ve just updated the bearings a bit. I’d be surprised if they untwist automatically?
