Re: Nobile splitboards. Please tell me why..

My take on split boards from a build point of view is you are basically making TWO boards - its sort of not surprising the price is something like double that of buying a non-split twin tip (ex pad/straps/fins etc)

Re: North/Cabrinha foil compatibility

2016 and 2017 Double Agent and the Neil Pryde CRX (which shares some parts with the Double Agent) are 90x140mm mounting points.

I didn't design the 2018 but I highly doubt its changed to 90x165 as the foil parts all appear to be carried over from 2017.

Cheers

Re: Airstyle seat harness

I've used Dakine Nitrous shorts for about 10 years, best harness Ive found for mid/low hook position and ease of leg movement. With the whole Billabong thing Dakine seem to be getting hard to come by. Naish shorts are pretty much the same and NP are about to release their own that comes packaged wit...

Re: Carbon Tow

The problem is carbon tow is a vital part of any modern aerospace development - including serious things like Nth Korea's missile program. (Missile bodies are usually filament wound carbon tow) Tho I could get plain tow when I worked in a factory in China we ran into this exact same problem in tryin...

Re: North Kiteboarding 2018

Just saw my my old local - Ruakaka River Mouth in that video, as of July 2017 is now illegal to kite there. Awesome spot, HUGE LOSS for the local kiters.

Re: Please sign petition to allow kitesurfing at National Seashores and reverse ban in Massachusetts

LongWhiteCloud, We've been scouring the internet looking for studies like the one you mention. We would bring it before a judge, along with the petition, to try and get National Park officials to grant us some access. Could you please send me a link or an email address where I could download it? Yo...
