Re: Much difference going from 90l to 75l?

If your weight is 75kg (same as me) I certainly would try a < 70L board. My track record: I started with 140L (2 times) => 95L (10 times) => 85L (20 times) => 70L (5 times) => 65L (50 times) => 35L (30 times) => 42.5L (100 times) Currently my 65L is my low wind board (< 13-14 knots) and my 42.5L is ...

Re: Rodeo Start - sinker Board 34L, rider 92kg

The stinkbug method worked for me immediately. This method looks easier but it didnt click for me yet. I have the feeling I need more wind compared to the stinkbug method. I will keep trying though. In any case sitting is the most stable position so if it will work for me it could be the best method...

Re: Small boards are often tricky

There is much easier way to get up on the sinker board than "Stinkbug" and much more comfortable. At least you don't need that much wind and it mustn't be constant strong. I use the Rodeo Style Method for getting up on the board. Good suggestion! Thx Czareka! I will try it out, next time. Also I ch...

Re: Small boards are often crap....

Interesting topic! Im 75 kg. Foils: SAB W800, SAB BM799 Below my board volume history and impressions. 1. In June 2021 I started with a 140 l board I could borrow. 2. After 3 times I bought a SAB98 liter. Found it much easier to gibe and overall handling than the 140 l board 3. Sold it after using i...

Saw a review stating that this wing has faulty inflation valve connection to the bladder, which deflates the leading edge.

Re: SAB W800, good for winging?

Yes. It is great for winging in strong winds. I use it when it's over 25 knots. It can be used in less wind, but it takes a lot of work to get flying. Then I prefer the W1000. Gunnar Is there a justified advantage of the W800 compared to the W940 in strong wind and high waves? Is the S370 usable wi...

SAB W800, good for winging?

Currently I have a SAB W940 and W945. Mostly using the W940. (Combined with the S370 stab) I would like to experiment with a faster and more agile wing for wave riding. Although the W940 is doing really well. Will the SAB W800 - windsurf race - https://sabfoil.com/en/products/wing-800-950-cm2-race-w...
