The difficulty in having an engineer design a surfboard is the chop, size and shapes of waves/chaos theory around boards. It wouldn't be easy to model. I'm not a fan of channels. I feel its a bit of a fad in kiting. It'll probably help you get up wind. But like in surfing, not great in chop. Wakeboards are different, it's in glassy waters. I find they aren't great for top turns on a good wave. They don't slide as well or correct as well. It's funny...

It always looks more like they are not critical on this wave because the cameras are looking down from the high cliffs. But the result if you fall on this wave is critical so who cares if they are on the shoulder.

The guy has balls.

I was using the C1 and my back was getting really sore. I don't blame the harness completely (my back isn't the best) here as it was super comfortable, it didn't ride up and I could wear it looser. The surfer always has right of way, because they paddle in. Period.

In saying that the kiter went around him and let him have the wave so maybe all good.
