Re: How dangerous is this?

Wrap the kids in cotton wool. Stick em in a warm cosy environment with a tv and iPad. If the kid died then I admit I am wrong. https://flashbak.com/8-reasons-children-of-the-1970s-should-all-be-dead-323/ Dude you can't be fairdinkum comparing getting an injury to drowning in rough surf? There is a ...

Re: How dangerous is this?

Depends on a persons risk appetite.

I have taken my kids for runs on the kite in a 2ft deep lagoon, but would never dream of taking them into the surf, nor would I leave them on the beach by themselves while I kite.

I’m no “Dad of the year” but I put my kids welfare above everything else.

Re: Ocean Rodeo: The Next Generation is now

The new DIMENSION POLYANT K-PE DACRON looks similar to the EXOTEC Dacron used by Core. If it is, that’s a great choice as it is a very impressive material.

Top shelf materials, proven designs and the new bar should put Ocean Rodeo at the top of most kiters shopping list..

Re: How to self land core sensor pro bar

On my 12m XR5, I just walk up the front lines, hand over hand until I get to the kite and gently place it on the ground. Seems to work well as once you grab above the cleat it totally depowers. I imagine this will be the same if the GTS has the same bridal/pulley set up.. I have only tried this in w...

Re: Are Switch kites getting any better?

Jeebus... Everyone wants to complain about pulleys on a kite.

First World problems......

I reckon it looks good and if I needed a new kite I would happily buy one along with the new bar, as it is the first kite from Switch I have wanted...

Looks familiar? https://ikon-kiteboarding.com/product/peak-3/ https://ikon-kiteboarding.com/product/peak-3xs/ Faxie, Looks like you hit the nail on the head. I think I remember a former Airush kite designer is mixed up with IKON. So if one was to follow the bouncing ball... are we going to see IKON...

I’m not sure why you Blokes give DWX a hard time? If you don’t ask... you don’t learn, and you can’t tell me that none of you have had to ask a question.

Nice review Lindseym..

Re: 2018 North Rebel vs 2017 North Evo Review

Yup.. Bull$hit every year, from every manufacturer. I go to change settings on the kite and they read "direct - very direct" etc.... I always think bull$hit.. they should read "vague - somewhat vague" I was looking forward to the new Evo, but after seeing a couple of videos of it flying I don't thin...
