Re: thin booties, sharp objects, too keep out sand HELP!

You Could try https://www.getfyf.com as an alternative. FYI - They get slightly bigger when wet so check sizing. When I put them on dry they don’t properly fit over my big toe although they fit the rest of my feet properly. Once wet, they fit perfectly. I now wet them first along with my harness fo...

Re: Moses 2018

Just wanted to say thanks to all that replied. This is a great thread and helpful crowd! Ended up buying a used T40 with Vorace 97cm mast with the 2017 550/325 combo to learn on. Also got the full 2016 race (HP580/345) wing & stab to play with later on... Will start on that and then possibly comple...

Re: Hello all help with rigging wipika air blast

I'm new to the forum myself. I began learning how to kitesurf back around 2004 on an old slingshot fuel 16m. Around the same time, I picked up two other kites. A Wipika freeride 7.1 and another Wipika similar to the OP. I practiced a lot of body drags but only got up on my board on a single downwin...

Re: Cloud vs Reo.

Reo is definitely a strong wind kite, as well as medium to low wind. two guys at our beach have the clouds and reo kites, but have told me the clouds are best in lighter airs and not strong winds, they rarely use the clouds and nearly always have the ozone reo kites flying. clouds do look great in t...

Re: Moses 2018

"The beauty of these wings are, that even when too much kite, they are slower so they dont get out of control like smaller wings do" Spot on, i use the onda to pratice in high wind conditions where the 637 gets dangerous to try new stuff. I can not follow this idea... it is not like this for me. Bo...

Re: Kite 7m for hydrofoil

Ozone REO V4 in 7 or 6m will do the job...light, easy, will not pull you from the foil etc...try to test it before you buy :thumb:  Ozone Reo.all sizes 4 of us foil riders at New Brighton use them, 5/6/7/8/9/10/12 mtr kites, (between us) I am just missing the 5 and 7 :( Gods gift to foilers, ...

Re: How to fall correctly?

both hands on the bar, whilst steering the kite upwards and depowering it, if one hand gets ripped off then let go with the other.unless your other hand is over the centre lock feet into straps, or kick the board off if one foot is out(duff jumps only) impact vest massively reduces the ouch factor i...

Re: Foil Shinn mounted on a North foil board?

If the bolt fixings are 263mm x 90mm apart then yes you can, I am sure they might be, (well the shin is at least) but I think the bolts might need modifying, the shinn mast fixings are unique and might not be any good for the North, but if you have a garage full of spare bolts and nuts/washers you s...

Here is the pump for that Wipika Airblast, I kept mine as a reminder how mad some thinking was back then.
