Re: How to ruin your vacation with Core

Hi after reading the posts on this subject I have to admit I am a bit worried now. First of all, I do not have an informed opinion on Core! A few times a year I do smash my kite (another brand) on the water and while it is evident I try to avoid this from happening I thought that the risk of damagi...

Re: What about kiting in the olympics?

The anti-doping system in sport is a good indicator of how much corruption sport faces. Just read about Chris Froome’s possible positive from his Vuelta participation this summer. So if true, that would mean the latest multiple Tour winner (he has 4!) is just another doper. So we’ve probably not see...

Re: F-One handle insert distance

I use Core and it’s the same. Their foot straps only work with their boards, their pump isn’t compatibility with some other brands either. Same for fins and screws if I’m not mistaken. It is what it is. Manufacturers prerogative. My main industry gripe isn’t over cross compatibility between products...

Re: How do KBs keep from drowning when they wear boots

What about deeper water and an arm injury, say a shoulder dislocation during the mobe? Could you manage that? I’m also usually out by myself as well (early mornings). Keep it simple and safe in those circumstances. Goes without saying, floating with a dislocated shoulder and no one around is one of...

Re: How do KBs keep from drowning when they wear boots

So it’s all about getting your feet out in front of you, whether you’re coming down in the air or rotating in the water. Important thing to get out of your head is that you won’t sink just because your feet are constricted (this is yet another reason why good core strength is critical for Kiteboardi...

Re: How to ruin your vacation with Core

Friend of mine misfortune.. First day of his 2 weeks’ vacation, pilot’s error, he pulled on the wrong side of the bar after a simple rotation and smashes his kite on the water Kite as less than 20 hours on it.. Humm http://i67.tinypic.com/29fsao6.jpg So, excusing the apostrophe abuse and the excruc...

Re: How to ruin your vacation with Core

I think its fair to expect a brand new kite to survive some hard crashes. I'd be pissed off for sure. Anyone seen this?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVSLAttuzkk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVSLAttuzkk When someone posts something like the OP has with minimal detail and words like “simple lo...

Re: How to ruin your vacation with Core

This happens quite a bit on the forum I guess. Saw a thread with Naish kite where OP did the same. Post impressive picture with minimal detail and imply it was the manufacturers fault and mention nothing about contacting customer support or any sort of effort to rectify the problem. Register your ki...

Re: Question for Toby

It is tempting, isn’t it. Toby would be a very depressed person if he had to deal with every instance of douchebaggery though, and I definitely agree that it would cause chaos. Sometimes it’s not so bad having shitposts there for all to see. A few individuals manage to correct or apologise every now...
