Re: Greatstone in uk

You can get off the Varne in a Northerly and it is sideshore, you also have some lee shore downwind as the bay curves out toward Dungeness point, but it'll be gusty. It's been North Easterly recently and South Easterly today, the weekend also sees wind in the East but how much depends on thermal act...

Re: Ozone Edge V8 15m

So you're saying you're prejudiced against Core because of colour, it's a black thing yeah? So racist.

Re: Ozone Edge V8 15m

I'm also looking at a 15m kite for summer and the 15m Edge V8 is an option. I'd like a 15m Zephyr but Ozone don't make one so I'll probably go for a 17m Zephyr for 10-15 knots then change down to my 12m Enduro V2. UK south coast (eastern Solent), 82kg, North Select 138/41. I can't boost (the truth ...

Re: Core Nexus and Nexus LW

Got to love sad fanboys of some lass ass brand or other following every post about Core and being pathetic, probably never having flown one even.

Re: Core Nexus and Nexus LW

CaptainCore sounds like he has insider knowledge. Maybe he can fill in the blanks??? Thanks for the info by the way! CaptainCore hth Actually CaptainCore does have a degree of insider knowledge, better than that Captain Core has insider knowledge of Slingshot, North and Naish even, dating back to 1...

Re: Core Nexus and Nexus LW

Yes the Free will be phased out although a few of us here in the UK would like it to continue in its role as an entry level school/package type kite. Although the new Nexus is not a difficult kite, indeed it could be considered flattering, it's still needs a degree of skill to get the best from it, ...

Countdown to Nexus Ends today...

So today is the official launch day of the new Nexus kite, we've all been out in the wind and waves of Cap Verde giving it the once (or even twice)over. Dealers, Distributors Mag guys and pretty much everyone has been impressed with it. Kind of a two or three kites in one, it's billed as an improver...

Holy moly.
That's serious for dealers for sure.

I will check my sources too and come back if I get a reply.
I believe they'll probably be stocking more from another well known German brand that co incidently just launched a new kite to huge critical aclaim..
