Re: Moon on a stick?

You used to see a lot more converted surfboards than you do now. I started on one. It's ok for the early stages but not much past that. Pretty easy to see foil boards trending to smaller and smaller boards that look nothing like surfboards anymore. Foiling is its own beast. You can do it any way you...

Re: Board width + boots size?

Should be fine. I have 45/46 feet and ride boots on a 42.5 cm wide board. I have a decent amount of board past the toe and heel of the boots and do not catch my heels at all. Have had that issue with boards down around the 38 cm width. The amount of duck in your stance ( toes out wider than heels ) ...

Re: Game changer - Onewheel teaches how to turn on a foil

It's an entirely electronically dependant single wheel vehicle. What could possibly go wrong? People need to be reasonable with their expectations of the machine their ability and the durability of their bodies. Can you go screeming down killer terrain at warp speeds cackling all the way like a demo...

Re: Core Nexus and Nexus LW

You forgot a key line THE KITEBOARDER REPORT: 2011 Bandit 4 "Despite the changes, the Bandit retains its Delta shape. Once inflated, you can see that the leading edge comes to a subtle point in the middle." The RPM is pretty much the quintessential opposite of a delta kite. The pics speak for themse...

Re: Riding Styles and best foils for curvy carving...

Think Greg from Boardriding Maui ( one of the top circle riders ) was on the lift foils for a bit and is now on the Maui Fin Company foils. They looks sweet. The Moses onda 633 seems to be the most widely spoken about wing on here. I'm still content with the zeeko carver wing. Pocket boards are great.

Re: Core Nexus and Nexus LW

Ahhh, a few years earlier was it? 2010 RPM right when it was selling, yet, not breaking news. Slingshot-RPM-2010.jpg 4766202.jpg Totally unique two pulley bridle. Here is the 2010 bandit. Re: Core Nexus and Nexus LW

What??? A bandit model that looked like an RPM.... Whatever bud. One was the original delta, the other a bridled, clipped and opened up fuel. For a guy who has been around for so long, you really don't seem to know much! Youri won in 2011 and 2012 on the RPM. Here are the 2013 models of both kites. ...

Re: Game changer - Onewheel teaches how to turn on a foil

I revived this thread as I'm seriously considering one... What is the opinion of the owners? Still enthusiastic about it or it has faded out? Ehmmm, I think it depends on availability of good riding spots near by, or perhaps being able to use one to commute. I for one hardly ever ride it anymore mo...

Oh man, Someone put it in the drink?! That would have been a seriously tense moment for me.

I love that thing.
