Re: Ride Engine Rib Jab

Hook or slider? Not sure the rigid concept is all that well suited to a rigid hook. Too much torque transmitted to the body. The RE does need to be pretty darn snug to play to its strength of shape and stationary support. It pretty much needs the slider to negate the torque. I was using a pivot BRM ...

Re: Another home build

This is a pretty old thread.

Sadly, Edge19 can't respond.

Building a super cool foil is only one of the many cool things I hope he is remembered for.

Im telling you, a skate is just that little bit too small for a lighter wind get up. The skim is about the right size and rocker to make it work.

Re: Chinese KB Hydrofoil : 300 USD + shipment

It is time for an update! How is that foil Tegirinenashi bought working out? Spork rode it once? A bunch? How is it holding up? Any issues? How much use has it had? Anyone else using one and happy with it? Just guessing, but figured Tegir would have said a bit more, but this thread has been crickets...

Re: Kite with good low end

Sheet in and go kites compared to some of the more C influenced designs that you work a little more on the low end. Rally, Rebel, Evo or XR have...

Re: I'll have to change my name now North Kiteboarding is no more..

I remember an awful Lot of windsurfers that couldn’t gybe to save their lives. Twint tip is the only reason you think the same level is any better at kiteboarding....... but it’s not. Kiting just has a way to turn around without falling that’s accessible to beginners. Once past that, progression is ...
