Re: Cabrinha Contra 17 or 19m?

I'm 90kg and I ride a 146cm slingshot misfit. I used to ride a 17m Turbine, and what I found that it was really slow, and then super grunty. As soon as the wind picked up, I was immediately ripped off my line. Can you write at what kts Turbine 17 was overpowered? I'm same weight and was choosing be...

Re: 11 or 12?

You didn’t mentioned what type of kites you already have? If it’s freeride switchblade/bandit/rebel you should be okay with 10&14m i own this two sized and gap is not too wide in my opinion. SB 14 rides from 12-20kts+ and 10m does 18-28kts. Ranges nicely overlap. If I chose my kite sizes again I wou...

Re: Turbine 19 vs 17 vs Flite 17 On The Ground Comparison

17m Turbine felt heavy and slow but I could ride my 15m Turbine when a friend was struggling with 17m Turbine. 13m Contra didn’t have enough power for my 200 lbs. and neither 13m Turbine did when we was debating going smaller size than my 15m. Your friend had different board/weight? I wouldn't cons...

Re: Turbine 19 vs 17 vs Flite 17 On The Ground Comparison

Interesting comparison, mackite compares contra vs turbine and they claim that contra has better low end as turbine is heavier 5-struts construction. I was considering buying turbine 17, as it's cheaper on sell but better low end of contra makes me go for contra. In the end low end is most important...

Re: Cabrinha kite bag use

I'm wondering the same thing, bag has strap at the bottom but doesn't have a strap at top to carry board like other bags do.

Re: What's the best RE harness?

Re: 8000 Miles on a Motorcycle, My Nobile Zen Foil and NHP Split board review

Hey I’m 200lbs and own nhp split 138 model 2018, board is wider than standard boards that size because it’s 138x43 it has high rocker (if you prefer smaller rocker get earlier models) 2018 has highest rocker ever which makes board great for landing jumps and great in choppy water. High winds = stron...

Did anyone tried both Majestic X and Ride Engine liked more RE? Or is it no brainer and just take MX?

Re: Havent been kiting for over a month..... Dont care!

Someone who cares a lot often mention how much he doesn’t care... 😬 I use to do a lot of MTB still have awesome bike and use it now and again when no wind is found! Which fortunately doesn’t happens often. I use it more often until I discovered winter wet suit 6/4 and now I kitesurf all year around!...

Re: beginner foil

Some guys claim they have foiled if they get up on the foil, However, that can be misleading, getting up and in some sort of control would take some water time, Up and in control of your height over 100 MTRS might take 10 hours or 20 hours, or some people might never get it, it happens! Up on a tal...
