Re: Pansh Aurora II 10m - one item off bucket list and 15m review

I bought the Aurora II in 15m since my last posting. Got it because of price, thought it could be lower wind kite, and because wind has been too pitiful to fly the 10m. Finally had opportunity to go out in about 10-16mph. Ocean but inside breakwater so not much wave action. Almost straight on shore ...

Re: Pansh shipping time to the states

Bought 2 Pansh now. First after 4-5 days my account order showed a tracking number and arrived in a total of 13-14 days. Second never showed tracking number or even that it was shipped but arrived in about same time. They just do not respond to emails - unless, as with a friend, they want to get an ...

Re: Speed system / mixer test explanations

Been looking at the FS Speed5 line plan. Obvious immediately that the Pansh Aurora II has a connection from Z to C through "C7". The Speed5 does not have this connection. Anyone tried eliminating that ZC connection on a Pansh. Maybe that has some cause of the sensitivity to backstalling. Admittedly ...

Re: Speed system / mixer test explanations

Thanks. Searched my "stuff" and found some pre-made bridle sections. One pair is apx 5cm (2 inches) shorter than Z (I think Z main...above first attachment point). So switched them. I'll check flight characteristics with the shorter Zs. Hoping for positive result!

Re: Speed system / mixer test explanations

On Pansh kites do you have to make new bridle sections for shortening Z, or just use some figure 8 knots on current sections??

Re: Speed system / mixer test explanations

DOUBLE DUDE!! DOUBLE AWESOME!! Great diagrams!! Very understandable....I think! Apparently working with Z and cleat trimming can make significant changes in camber on foil kites. Shorten Z and trim to add camber (add low wind power ... and minimize backstall?). Lengthen Z and "untrim" to take away/f...

Re: My Pansh A15 15m bar and lines ?

Just want to add to this discussion a finding I had yesterday with my Pansh bar - came with new Aurora II 10m. My first foil kite. When kite/bar came and I tried a low-wind fly of them the kite appeared very poor. However I had put together a bar with 18m equal length lines. Kite flew much better bu...

Re: Pansh Aurora II 10m - one item off bucket list

Thanks airsail for the detailed review. Still waiting to try my 10m in at least 12-14 mph. Will first use this 10m kite in about 14-20 mph with TT. Learning foilboard at same time so will be very interesting!!

Re: pansh a15 in 9m

New kite landed today. I had enough daylight for a short static flight on land. Standard lines on a 2016 Ozone bar (20m?) The wind was 12 knots recorded. Gusts to 14 by my estimate. Ultralight is 1801 grams. The bridle is very long and fiddly. Its not a big deal but may put off somebody who is not ...

Re: Pansh Aurora II 10m - one item off bucket list

Aurora II 10m Dimensions_LI.jpg For anyone interested here are some of the dimensions (in mm) - using the Pansh diagram. Within +/- few mm they are the same on both sides. When I hold the "mixers" together A is longer than Z by the length of the last leader (apx15cm) (not shown on diagram). I call ...
