Re: which kite: cabrinha switchblade, north evo, airush

I think Airush VarialX will do the trick for you, or maybe newer Switchblade, I would stay away from Evo, very different. I personally dig VarialX, forward flying, goes fast too paired with a fast board, great hangtime, very predictable, nice looking, crazy range. It does have some bar pressure, the...

Re: 15m North Juice V Ozone Zephyr

I'll try to add some info here , We have a local guy here who distributes Ozone and North and he's a big fan for Zephyr, used to recommend it to almost anybody talking about it's range. Lately he was riding a lot on 15m Juice though and he told me that the Juice loses a little on the low end (which ...

Re: 18m Airstyle Rebel

Watching the news. Toyota have just announced a Land Cruiser with no chassis rails. Pretty responsive apparently ... And cheap to build Westozzy, this is what I diged out from Toyota Website : Body Construction Unitized steel body on 10-member high-tensile steel ladder frame That sounds like a fram...

Re: Kiteboard for choppy water?

My vote for Shinn lineup, personally own Supershinn, it just floats over the chop, and tried the Monk, same thing with less pop.

Re: Ozone Edge bladder leak found

Still impressive, at 2:56 how the Flysurfer reverse-relaunched off the water, looks almost miraculos.
Wandering if Edge would do the same....

(No FS affilation here, flying 17m edge myself)

Airush DNA got no one pump,. but they did it for price point and for kite school abuse/repair.

Re: What type of lightwind board?

Go for a Smaller Sector, not the 60, unless you're 200lb and more, the board is just amazing, fun, playfull, blasting around, had mine for 3 years and would probably never sell it.

Re: Efficient 15m for light wind? Edge?

I rode 2011 15m Edge for two seasons, mostly with the Sector, small 52cm most of the time. Same weight as you, I can say the Edge is very nice when it picks up, I had awesome sessions in 10-12knts+, again with the Sector. It transitions very well, surprisingly for this type of kite, talking about lo...
