Re: Oyster foot protection

Ion Ballistic series. They have Kevlar in the soles and offer an added layer of protection compared to standard booties that are just rubber/neoprene.

Speaking of cameras/gimbals

Anyone tried or seen this one yet? It is the Rylo.

Loks pretty good. A little on the expensive side, but if it does what is says it will do, it may be worth it.

Re: WOO 3.0 pre-order

No GPS for the Woo 3. It is all about the new improved accelerometer for more accurate jump heights, the included water proof case, and the "games" in the App where you compete against other kiters for bragging rights.

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

You should lose the thumb screw and replace it with a regular screw. I have seen people get their lines caught on the thumb screw much more often than any other part of the line mount.

Try a sand anchor/weight to stabilize the tripod.

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

I also pre-ordered the Quark. Mostly because it will use a proven camera, my GoPro, and the cost was too good to pass up for the potential benefits.

Re: Mystic Majestic X Waist harness Quality

Those bubbles will have zero appreciable affect on how the harness feels or it strength. It is cosmetic only and since you have to be very close or zoomed in to see it, meh, complain if ya want to, but it is all for naught. It does not look like something that I would warranty if I were the company.
