F one Bandit 12m 2018 V's 2017 review

Me- 75 kg, Style – Freeride/wave Conditions – wind 12 – 17 knots, no depower, riding TT, bar set at 52 cm. See my previous 9m B11 review. http://www.kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=2397765&p=991657 The extra bar pressure is more apparent on the 12m than the 9m, this IMO gives the kite:- better low end...

Re: Kite description V’s style usage

Following on the NKB example, yes there is quite a lot of overlap between those kites (in the order Neo-Dice-Evo-Rebel). If you were unable to test the kite for whatever reason, I still think you'd have a good shot at finding the right kite based on the descriptions given and the tool on the website...

Re: Kite description V’s style usage

I don't think many riders want to go through a complicated algorithm to choose between an 8m Neo or a 9m Dice for an exact set of conditions (which will probably change). Most people serious riders know their kites well enough to pick the right for the conditions. And the kite sizes are usually 2 o...

Kite description V’s style usage

When buying a new kite or comparing similar kites of different brands, unless you are lucky enough to have a local kite shop where you can try out the different kites, in most cases this is not possible. In my experience you end up speaking to mates about which kites they like and looking at differe...

Re: F-One 2018

... performance attributes of the Dice, Evo & Neo rolled into one kite... Sorry but having ridden all of those there are unique things about all those kites that doesn't help performance in other aspects. To have something that works super well for freestyle you give up surf ability. To make it as ...

Re: F-One 2018

All the inflatable SUP boards have the same spring loaded valve system. If it works for them with pressures up to 15 to 20 psi v's 10 psi for the Bandit then I can't see why it won't work. Also at last a brand manufacturer has taken the initiative to standardise the inflation valve system.

Re: Wind meters?

Yes windmeters never lie!!! I have had the Windtronic 2 for 11 years and use it whenever I kite. Obviously the wind is not consistent eg the reading at the top of the beach will be different from the waters edge. However for peace of mind and judging when to rig a 12m v's 9m V's 7m it's excellent. A...

Re: F-One 2018

Bandit 11's. A new one line flag out system, variable length bar, large inflation valve, attractive colours, performance attributes of the Dice, Evo & Neo rolled into one kite, a step by step progression in performance from the 10's which I've enjoyed over the past year. What's not to like (price?)!!!

Re: 2017 Ride Engine vs Dakine C1

Does the RE get bigger after use? I've heard the C1 becoms a bit larger after a few sessions due to the memory foam moulding to ones shape. My waist is 34 ins ht 5ft 9ins I've got the medium 2017 RE with the fixed bar. For the first few sessions with the harness I felt the foam on the sides was mak...
