Board maintenance

After almost two years, I have nicks, scratches, dings and the bolt rings are starting to show signs of wear and tear. I'd like to bring it back into shape to limit chance of water seeping into materials / extend life. Looking for board maintenance recommendations! Board info Xenon Infra 2015 Core: ...

Eleveight RS review

Alright, trying to contribute where possible. I use this site all the time so I plan on reviewing all new gear. Just rode the RS14 for the first time... love it, super meaty! I was looking for a third, low wind kite for my quiver (my other 2 are hybrid c's), and after trying a number of other kites,...

Re: Sand / water / aqua socks to wear inside boots

wow... this is excellent. I agree, socks in boots is a disaster. so the most portable with protection is probably the way to go. Separately, the Hyperlite and Shredtowns sound excellent, but expensive. Also worried they are too far elevated off the board, but know for sure. My Ronix lines are a nigh...

Impact vest with pockets

Does anyone know of a neoprene impact vest with pockets? My ideal vest would: Have 2 or more pockets Pockets large enough to carry phone in a pouch and aqua socks for an emergency One mesh pocket to carry portable waterproof bluetooth speaker. Have more buoyancy than typical impact vests I've tried ...

Sand / water / aqua socks to wear inside boots

Looking for advice on the thinnest pair of water / sand socks that will fit inside a Ronix one boot, and offer some foot protection. I don't want them, but only a matter of time until I have to navigate ragged rocks and barnacles after a technical failure or twisted kite. I do have a little pouch I ...

Re: Eleveight FS Review

Update. This kite boosts! First time on the FS09 I broke my height record, 37.5 feet in 25g30. Prior record (other than FS12) was 28 ft on Liquid Force NV07 in 30G35. That's basically 35% more air in 20% less wind. Ridiculous. It did stall once, but completely my fault, swung way underneath and land...

I have no experience with the Xensr other than being on their to be shipped list for 4 months, then I cancelled the order. Would love to se...

Cumberland Island GA

18 miles of uninhabited beach on the east coast. Trying to find anyone who has kitesurfed there and can provide some guidance. Here are my thoughts. Thx 1) Jetties - North side, wind from S to NE with outgoing tide on could provide some flat water 2) Stafford shoals - some waves break 200 yards+, co...

Re: Trace errors compared to Woo

While grabbing my coffee this morning in the south bay i met a guy Geoff that works for Intel and knew all about sensers for kitesurfing. he said they did some testing of all the devices and trace ranked the worst in jump heights, pique was better but not by much, woo was pretty good but its jump h...
