What memory card are you using? I had this happen on a gopro black 3 and it turned out the memory card was not fast enough writing the data. I found this because it would record 720p correctly but 1080p stopped after a few seconds. When the card can't keep up with the camera it just stops recording.

Thanks for reply's. I think I will stick to my original plan and keep 8m ,10m SB, and 12m ,14.5 Flite . The 12m Flite is an awesome kite, very fast , boost great, light in the hands. It does become a handful when overpowerd, but at that point I will be on the 10m SB... I would say stick to that unt...
