Re: One strut kites - which the lightest of them all?

Any word on which one of these kites boosts the best? I love jumping on my HF and I’m in the market for a new 12m. Currently I have the Naish Trip which isn’t really the best for boosting big on my foil.

Re: St. Lucia or Antigua in early-mid December?

Coconut Bay at St Lucia is fantastic. Good flat water and decent waves. Plus if you’ve got a family like myself you can kite within a five minute walk from a great all inclusive resort. Highly recommend

Re: Kite fatality in Thailand

So sad to hear about the fatality in Hua Hin. Maybe we can make the best of this tragedy by using it as a lesson to always carry a knife and to plan. I hope the following story can convince you of how important it is to carry a kite knife. A few years back I had a very scary incident on a powered 9m...

Re: Boots: Any safety tips?

I wish I could still ride boots but after an ACL tear and two broken tibias (all done while snowboarding) my knees can’t take the torque any longer so I ride straps now and have been focusing on board offs and the like. Ditto on connecting your leash to the front I find that it makes it easier to la...

Cloud D1 good for boosting on foil?

Has anyone tried boosting on the cloud D0 or D1 single strut? How does it compare to other single struts such as the Mono or Ultra? I ride the Naish Trip when foiling now and I switched from the Cloud .5 because it was a better jumper but I do like the feeling of Cloud kites. If boosting performance...
