Re: My experience with the Chrono 15m for Oldschool

Great conversation gentlemen. Skatez if you get the chance it would be worth your while to test the 15m dyno 2015. I fly them, the rebel 18 and I also have a 16m 2011 dyno (used to also have the 18m 2011). Speaking dyno talk this new kite with the tow points brought together through the strut brida...

Low surface tricks with rotations can be tricky, since the thorn would hit water.

Thanx. Have to be carefull then.

Re: My experience with the Chrono 15m for Oldschool

PS I agree 12 would be too fast for complex airstyle. any 12 is My Crossbow 11m (2012 I think) is really slow. Does not have very good high end. Does not get you very high (for me). But it does give me a change to do tricks. Feels reliable. Hangtime is in no comparison with Chrono. I quess thats wh...

Re: My experience with the Chrono 15m for Oldschool

Hey men, Since my last post I have purchased the 12 chrono and ridden it solidly for 1 1/2 months. So I can add to the review also. My initial statemen was that the chrono needed to be flown the whole time through the jump. I guys this is still the case. But It depends on bar set up. You can set th...

Re: My experience with the Chrono 15m for Oldschool

not sure what you mean...using a camera attached to your back? Try the Darkslides...pretty much same thing with the loop...just to see if it loops thru. I mean the third person gopro mount. I have seen you using one, but you had it attached to your harnas. Is it save to use for Airstyl or can it be...

Rebel Airstyle 18m

I had a couple of runs on the 18, before it had to go back to shop. I would like to know how others have experienced the kite for Airstyle. This is what I noticed. I compare the Rebel to my Dyno 18m. Kite seemed to act different each time. Turbulant Wind and watercondition did changes quickly when I...

Re: My experience with the Chrono 15m for Oldschool

Okee. But this is very individual for sure. The Chrono jumps with very little wind. So easily 200% under 16kn. I had so much time putting on my board with a beachstart, when the rest was not bothered getting there kites in the air. I am sure they could not get on a plane if tried. Really light wind....

Re: My experience with the Chrono 15m for Oldschool

Hi, Being back from the winter and having some more sessions on the chrono, I feel I have to correct some statements I made before winter. After some doubt whetter to buy Chrono or Rebel Airstyle or just stay with the kites I have (Dyno 18, Rebel 16, Crossbow 11 and Draft 9) I decided to go for the ...

Re: 12m and 15m chrono wind ranges on a TT in the ocean.

My experiences is with 12 and 15. The range of the 15 is greater then you would expect if you are used to depowering by edging the board. The chrono does that really well. Not so much depower with the bar. You can notice that, when you launch the kite in front of you in less wind. Then it pulls hard...

Re: Chrono 15m kite review

Ozone dealer told me that part of the bridle that goes true the pulley is from kevlar and tend to break under heavy load. (It is okee for racing) For that reason you better change them for dyneema. The later models have dyneema.
