Re: My first Alaia

Hello BWD, I'm 75kg but I would like to use it for light to medium wind (10-15 knots). Should I make it a bit wider? And last question about the rails, I've made them 5cm wide from the edge all around the board, am I correct or should I make straight rails from the bottom of the board? Thanks! Olivier

My first Alaia

Hello guys,

Could you give me some advice the dimensions of my Alaia?

I've made this with different stuff I found on the net.

FYI, the rails will be 0,6cm deep and the concave will be around 0,4cm deep and 115cm long.

Short light wind session in Brittany

Not as cold as I thought it would be and no one else on the spot :o

The wind was quite shy but I had some fun in the small waves. But the last one was a real nightmare. I got trapped during 20 seconds.

But Brittany remains a real paradise!

Re: 5G EpicKites

The 5G 13 LTD Renegade is a fantastic kite. I didn't use to ride bigger kites than 11 or 12m but I had the chance to ride the 13 LTD. The wind range is really nice: 7 knots with a Surf up to 22-25 knots on a TT. In really low wind, the Renegade LTD is still powerful and fast turning. I must admit, i...
