Re: What's your smallest kite ?

Smallest kite is 4m Rally. I'm based south coast UK. As long as the wind stays mostly over 25 knots it's a good un on TT. We get quite a few days each year with big atlantic low pressure systems going over & thats when this kite comes out. Used it on days when the wind meter on bramble bank (behind ...

Re: Lightest or thinnest booties?

I like the Atan Sunfast booties. Super light weight they really are the next best thing to having nothing on your feet. They don't last forever if you walk a lot in them on abrasive surfaces & they don't have hard soles for total foot protection - but thats the trade off for keeping the board feel. ...

Re: Freerace vs Transport vs Sector

Well I have the sector 54... ...What id like to do is try some smaller surf fins on it. Does anyone know how I'd find some of these that would fit?? I have some of these Naish G10 mini tuttle surf fins in stock. They are asymmetrical & supplied in pairs (originally for the old mutant style boards) ...

Re: Slingshot Bar / QR - Questions

Yeah, that should work, just change over the chicken loop & the depower line. Probably worth measuring the lengths of the depower lines so you can see if there is a difference in your trim. I think the narrow top on the Slingy release, is to stop you occasionally catching your thumb between the top ...

Re: Slingshot Misfit vs Slingshot Asylum

The asylum is definitely not just a boots board. I rode the 138 Asylum yesterday in the Solent at high tide & 20+knot with straps. The board is smooth riding, feels light & lively underfoot & not like towing a bucket which you get on some high rocker boards, probably due to the concave in the bottom...

Re: Help - Shops

Hey guys - I'm James' mate with the Venturi. Standard fins were all 37.5 with a bit of cant on the front ones. Very easy to ride but just not enough to get the board to unstick & go upwind properly. TBH naish should either supply some bigger fins with this board or make it cheaper & let the rider ch...
