I agree with all the advice given, except to add, whichever ktes you buy, don't mistake convenience (ie "high depower" "Easy relaunch" "100% depower," etc. ) for safety. In spite of some real advances and some hype, the sport is only a tiny bit safer now than 5 or 10 years ago, if you look at injuri...

Demos and local visibility are the main things that convince. If someone sees a couple of guys out on a different kite that look like they are having more fun, that will bring inquiries!
