There are plenty of good alternatives. I use the Ocean Rodeo Prodigy for boosting and in waves. Mate of mine does the same with a bandit.

The Switch kites that I tested (Nitro & Legacy) I found ok but nothing special. Their business model tough is great! I could not care less about shop owners, I just want good bang for my buck.

Does the CL stay in position when you unhook? This is one thing that annoys me on the normal OR bar.
