Tried only once, i feel like head strap is good recipe for gopro smashing you in the face, also video isn't very stable.
Helmet mount gives much better results.
My progression was more or less like that: Jump, backroll transition, slow late backroll kiteloop. Then jump with transition with late downloop, or learn heliloop in general. grabs on jump One footer Powered kiteloop Frontroll transition Frontroll Backroll hand drag with slow late loops then darksli...
Does anyone know for certain that kiting will NOT be allowed inside the jug handle bridge? There appears to be a large area of water on the inside of the bridge, and I'm sure kayaks, SUPs, fishing skiffs, etc. will use that area. My guess is there isn't a kiting prohibition (yet). It's possible the...
Usually Woo registers waves as jumps of 1-1.5m. I believe so is here. But what is weird if you look jump timestamps of 20+ meter jumps you see wave jump at the same time. For example 30m jump there is 2s wave jump 2s before high jump. And this pattern is with all over 10m jump that very weird 'over...
Reminds me of my first powered session on C kite lol. You didn't really experience lofting, more like being slingshot in the air. Diving a 2008 C kite through in upper 20 will result in some real human slingshot experience. Here is my first experience with it and that was after 2 years of kiting, wh...
probably depends on kite but tends to agree, I never depower when i launch when it's really strong i will depower a few inch but not fully to clam cleat else i would probably rig smaller kite lol. it's way easier to control a kite that's fully powered than fully depowered. No problem keeping kite in...
did that too
The one that was most painful wasn't a loop, it was just landing flat on rib when attempting backroll with a lot of speed, kite too low, didnt complete rotation, landed flat on rib with spreader bar punching me. It was also first day with impact vest.
some friend of mine lost one on a crazy day.
big wave with sand bar 1 mile off, made crazy current, combined with sunset and cold water, rider had to eject to make it back to shore.
He was last rider to come back to shore so took us a while to get back out to help out.
when i demoed core kite the other day, i noticed that tons of sand was stuck around the PU line. According to that French kitetool constructor the sand in US is very coarse compared to wherever he kites at in Europe. https://kitesurfvoilier.fr/en/ I did get a few of his tools and they pretty much do...

I broke the rear camera on my samsung phone.. so tried to take a picture in a selfie mode.. not trying to hide anything.. I can ...
