And? What happened? Tell us details on how this went down please for the ones who don't know!
I'll leave the details to you, I'm no one

A higher jurisdiction revert back the initial decision

In fairness the sport was not ready for olympic status so soon

Sailing clearly stopped us for Rio...voting for the windsurfers instead...
Shows how important we are for them...
It was the same sailing that place us there in the first place

Re: Is Wakestyle dead?

Seriously, the only thing that makes wakestyle or any style unpleasant and annoying is claims to superiority; “this is the hardest” OR “that’s the hardest” 🙄🙄🙄 seriously, can you get anymore prepubescent annoying? And if you haven’t done something you really don’t know how hard it is... it may not ...

Re: Kitesurfing Inside World Sailing is Illegal

It is not necessary to be the same sport to be consolidated within the same responsible body. FISA got swimming, water-polo, diving, artistic swimming, open waters, etc. Skate, now an Olympic sport, was placed together with the roller blade (lol) and some others. For all IFKO claims the reality is t...

Re: Speculation surrounding the legitimacy of Hadlows KOTA w

not necessarily Tone. One example: strapless freestyle... Nah. No non kiter will be interested in strapless airstyle. Sure its technically very impressive for the guys actually doing it or interested in it. Lets face it the kota is where where kiting shines. Most other disciplines copy other sports...

Re: Marc Jacobs at North Kite now ?

I wonder if the sport is not at a much lesser level of sophistication most people think it is

Re: Just moved to Lisbon, looking for locals to kite with

Outside summer season you´ll get mostly kite time w/ shitty weather, meaning will be blowing from ~S/SE. In Lisbon get a train in Cais do Sodré heading Cascais, step out in Carcavelos, walk 500m, kite. You won´t need a car :-)

Re: Kitefoiling at ISAF World Cup in 4knots

saw for the first time a guy playing around in my local spot a few days ago

He was using a 12 in conditions I did not even bother to get my gear to the sand, I was wow!

Think it make totally sense this to be the Olympic class

Re: Again Fatality in South of France

What I'm missing in this discussion: Why did the more experienced kiters on the spot not try to stop him? If I saw a beginner on a spot in these conditions I'd make it pretty clear to him that if he lauches he will most probably crash/possilbly kill himself. Not trying to be smart after the fact, j...
