Re: Introducing the new Naish S25 Kite Line

I don't know where you got this information from. On the official Naish website there is nothing about Pivot 2021 It's not Pivot 2021, it's S25 Pivot, as with the S25 Boxer. S25 is the new designation (celebrates 25 years of Naish products). and obviously if Naish are launching later this month, th...

Re: Naish Pivot, 2020 v 2018

Hi Hugh2, Today I got a 2020 Naish Pivot in 7m. used it this afternoon in winds averaging 26knots, lulls down to 18 knots , and gusts up to 34 knots. these were measurements from a weather station a half mile across the bay. Weight 76 kilos on Directional board. First impressions, Kite is physically...

Re: Naish Pivot, 2020 v 2018

Thanks. Dirk, and BudhaNI for your replies, Magnusod I think you sussed the problem I am having with the 2017 Slash, Naish thinned out the leading edge on later models, and stopped it sitting so far back in the window. When riding my 2017 7m at it's top end, if I point hard upwind I can keep the kit...

Naish Pivot, 2020 v 2018

Currently using 2018 Pivots in sizes 12m and 9m, and 2017 Naish Slash in 7m. the 7m seems 'big' for it's size, and seems to generate nearly as much power as my 2018 Pivot 9m. I'm getting overpowered too quickly on it ! Want to replace the 7m Slash, with a new 2020 Pivot 7m , Would the 2020 Pivot 7m ...

Re: Doutone Wam 2020 5.8" question

Hi GC, I had the same with the Duotone Whip 5' 2 (which may as well be a 5 '8 with the nose chopped off!), which came with M size fins, the board seemed too 'directional', not 'loose'. I changed down to the S size fins, and immediately felt the board become more loose, easier to initiate carves. and...

Re: First impression of Gong M Pro

it will be screwed in fine ! ( it's quite a large socket, and the socket needs to be thin walled. )

Re: First impression of Gong M Pro

If necessary, the air vent valve can be removed for cleaning. use an appropriate size socket and unscrew anticlockwise. the valve can be dunked in fresh water to wash away any salt crystals that may have accumulated. be very careful not to over-tighten the valve when refitting, finger tight is enoug...
