Re: Naish acquired by Kubus Sports

How sad! I'm sure the Octopus has to do with this. I loved tribal designs. You mean because they got rid of the octopus system? No, I meant the octopus was the culprit of Naish selling the company. I never liked the octopus. But it was just a bad joke. I'm sure it had nothing to do with it. haha ye...

Re: air tag for board bag Mexico?

I would.

So many stories of lost luggage where the airtag helped. My friend lost her passport and would never have gotten it back if it wasn't for tile. Another friend got his RV back 2 times because of tile.

Re: Naish acquired by Kubus Sports

The world market for kitesurfing is around $100 mil. That is the yearly budget of a 120 bed US hospital. The only way you can survive in a small market is with dedication and total enthusiasm. I am really pulling for Naish ( I only have Naish kites since the Helixes). This deal looks like Bubba's c...

Re: Naish acquired by Kubus Sports

I don't feel good about this. It was a fire-sale. Kubus sport has 21 brands now with Naish. They just bought some market share for maybe 400-500k the most. I am weary if they have any capitol or interest in innovation. This the begining of the end for Naish.  You must be kidding. Are you...

Re: 2022 gear I am thankful for

14m Naish Boxer for twin tip/directional. Never liked big kites, but this one does OK. The rest of my quiver are Pivots. Super Interesting. I've not tried that big of a boxer..the biggest I have tried is the 11 which I like, but I love for snow. The 11 boxer is magic on snow... I tend to stay away ...

On closer inspection I noticed some sand junking up a rubber seal. Cleaned it off and no more leak

Hey thank you for the update and reminder.

Great to have updates since this would otherwise be lingering.
Also a great reminder to check the basics. So easy to forget.

Re: Ozone Reo vs Naish pivot: low end

Sorry bit late to the party, I own a 9m Ozone Reo V5. It has 2 settings on the bridle onshore and offshore, this was new for the V5 and continues to be a feature on the newer models. The onshore setting gives it a lot more grunt than older versions. I am between 90 and 100kg and kite with it from 1...
