Re: Carrying your Kite

you need to carry it over your head. You can't do this with just the leading edge; need to hold the bridle. if your bridle doesn't reach the center, rig up a short line to attach to closest bridle points.

Don't know why everyone is going crazy. It's a DECENT deal for older stuff.

Re: north evo 2013

You ordered it. You tell us. And there's no going back now, so if you get reviews here that tell you not to buy, what are you gonna do?

Re: Health of Kite Industry?

One thing they can still do is come up with some original names...We have a Switch kite, and a Blade kite and a Switchblade kite. We have a Prodigy board and a Prodigy kite... I am sure there are many others... :thumb: :baeh2:

Re: Surfboard with what looks like plastic fins

Plastic fins are fine. If you can deflect them a half inch then they are probably for a foamie for a beginner. You can replace them and even if you do it with proper (and cheap) plastic ones they won't deflect like that.

Why don't you get your butler to do it?

Re: Kiteboarding Footstraps

I know this sounds weird but I like directional straps on my TT. Just straps and a thin traction pad. It is less cushion for landing jumps but I don't care about that. I like the more direct connection with the board, especially gripping with toes.

Yes, I did. Brilliant of you to pick it up. People are gonna do crazy stuff. I say, let em. Anyway, there is far too much obvious envy in your criticism of the guy.

Maybe the rebel is turning but it looks to be sitting farther forward in the wind window.

Re: North EVO 2013

That must be Dan at North. Said he has no idea about the Evo. I guess we'll have to wait.
