Re: Replacement grab handle & compatibility

True maybe but only 0.1 to 1 % has a 3D printer.

Re: Foil quick mount

Amazing bragnouff, less than one minute - I rest my case then and it must be a (big) mental thing solely :D

Now I wonder why most others use such long time for mounting their foil - maybe they also take the mast and flyer apart?
But it should be quite fast, as only 1 or 2 screws.

Re: Replacement grab handle & compatibility

There is a major chance ANY other handle will work indeed. 3 handles in 6 months, and you dont use it "a lot" - that must be the worst handle ever manufactured  Does it break in the middle, at the bends, or at the end at the screw attachment? Sounds crazy for a handle "just" used for carry...

Re: Foil quick mount

Why would one like to change track position once out? If you have different sized frontwings and different trim, you set the position before you go out. Even with footstraps no issue, in fact maybe even easier. Because as Bragnouff said, it doesnt take long till you know where each frontwing/foil tr...

Re: Foil quick mount

True - having tools is never an issue. On this point we are very different. I prefer just to have a small short unbrako one size, as it works for all kite and wing foil screws for me. But apart from that, always carry a full set of tools and lines and bridle lines and tape and fibreglass and epoxy a...

Re: Foil quick mount

I have chosen a 1 screw box for my kitefoils (masts and flyers always assembled), and leave the wingfoil on the board in the car, only change frontwings or base position if needed on a given day. Yes we are lazy, but once the fast solutions have been used for some time, almost impossible to go back ...

Re: Foil quick mount

Disagree... I have never seen anyone being able to assemble a board to baseplate in 1 minute or less in a track with loose T nuts. Sometimes it takes quite some time to get the T nuts placed correctly, and if one slides a bit it is a PITA and they might have to remove again to get it right. So when ...

Re: Hydrofoil bolts

Agree, drill or saw them out/off.

You can probably ride just fine with 3 bolts yes but why not fix it so you can take it apart?

Re: "Spin-out" with SabFoil Medusa Pro 869?

120 mm root chord. So, 0.118. Still a smaller number than your Gong (0.122). My point was simply that I don't think anyone who's held and felt a Medusa Pro would call it a "thick" foil. But anyways all of these measurements only give you a ballpark idea and it's pointless to use the numbers to tell...
