Re: Time for new winter boots. Atan again?

Atan with split toe for me, I have a decent walk to the beach but because of the split toe I can use an old and large pair of flip flops and thus save the sole untill I have inflated my kite and laid out the bar :).

I do need to use straps (haven't yet) to prevent the rolling down.

Re: Kevin Langeree leaving Naish...

Kevin was out riding yesterday afternoon at Dolphin on an unbranded white 3 strut delta kite and unbranded harness. Walked down the beach away from everyone to launch- I'm guessing so guys couldn't see the bar and bombard him with questions. Lasse out again on 9m Rebel. Look, that's news! interesti...

One of my buddies uses Naish Apex on his Jaime board.
I am not your buddy ;) but I do this and it works fine.

I use Atan booties in winter which fit in the Apex straps just fine. They're thin and flexible and very warm :).

Re: Different kites in different sizes quiver

I've an Airush Ultra 12m for low wind TT riding. I've tried with the SB but that doesn't work with my limited skills. Then 7-9 Pivots for both TT and SB, and a 6 Slash for highest winds on the TT and more wide use for the SB. The Pivot 9 is good for TT but not so much for SB, for me it's a little sl...

Re: Foot straps

I second that, the 2017 version for me. 2018 was a little different, can't remember how but I prefer 2017.

Re: How likely am I to break a Apple series 3 watch?

I've used the Catalyst case with my series 4 watch when in shortie. It's a bit bulky so I've now taken that off as I am no longer in shorty country  and keep the watch under my wetsuit which I think is okay.

Re: 2019 Watches

I use the Apple Watch 4 and bought the Catalyst case for it. Looks quite sturdy, however have to say that once I put on my wetsult over it (pretty tight arms) and the spring failed :o . It was a prolonged tug but still. I got a free replacement which was nice. I have taken it off because it's so big...

Re: Issue BWS Stallion V2

I guess French Canadian (?) because he earlier said: "Again, feel free to tell me if i’m wrong to believe it’s not acceptable from a brand new 1350 CD$ +tx$ board." Missed that, thanks for pointing that out. Does the Canadian consumer law mandate to take up product complaints with the manufacturer?
