I’m at Melkbosstrand after 2 weeks traveling in South Afrika (west till Addo park / Port Elizabeth)
Looks like tomorrow, Sunday and Monday we can hit the water with the help of MoloAfrica.. we’ll see :D 8)
But what a beautiful nature and landscapes this country has.

In that case I dare to say it is more important to have a kite which flies nicely to the edge / overhead, be powerd up (foil wise, not TT wise) There a lots of nice vids around, don't take your speed front wing, take a 800cm2 (would be my choice of my setup; 600, 800 & 1200)) Now I can tack with my ...

I doubt that a bit.. depends on what turning behaviour you want.. but turning is not really a concern for tilmann.. I think he prefers to go fast as hell .. 8)

Planing and inflatable board will give a handbrake feeling while riding.. no fun.
I even had a splitable Nobile foil / wave combo.. that wasn't the board for waveriding / kiting either.. but that's another thing.

FWIW.. I Fly and kite, kitefoil and wingfoil. Did soar (and owned a 15 Niviuk Zion) It is great fun to soar but when living far from our coastline it can be frustrating .. not optimal conditions.. so I sold all that stuff (altough winchtow and fly with the Zion is fun too) except my normal PG gear (...
