Got a quick edit done of a Hybrid 2.5m session I did last month down here in SPI. I was VERY underpowered...around 20kts and decreasing. I would say this is the ultimate low end for me on this size and I wasn't able to stay upwind. Good video though to see how it handles and what works/doesn't work ...

Bar will swap no problem but an extra 7cm isn't going to make that much of a difference. You can first shorten the steering lines a couple cms first to see if that will speed up the turning. This will increase bar pressure and will make the foil more likely to backstall though.

While riding over whitewater, crouch some to lower your center of gravity and try to keep your legs as loose as possible. Will help with balance and being thrown off the board.
