If you use a seat harness then you should be able to use a normal impact vest. I use a wakeboard Liquid Force impact vest with my seat harness.

With a waist harness I'm not sure, maybe someone else can comment on that.

You just infused a block of corecell foam with resin? Wtf? Corecell needs skimming with resin/glass bubbles first so it doesn’t absorb a ton of weight before you laminate it Or you end up with a heavy core and a poor bond to the laminate. I use Gurit Corecell M, which has very low resin absorption....
