Got my v6 54 five days ago and had 4 sessions on it 2 in lighter winds with 14.5 cloud and 2 in better winds on cloud 9. I am inclined to compare the board with the V2 that i had before but i completely destroyed it on a reef. First thing that is different: it is much looser than the v2. Going upwin...

Just a personal opinion after saling clouds 6 months. I have. 14.5 and 9. They fit perfectly. My 14.5 i use from 9 to 13/14 knots. As soon as i see a steady 13 knots, cloud 9 it is. So i think 17 and 14.5 are too close.

Greg explained me a bit yesterday how to prevent this luffing and how much pressure you should put on the backlines including when gybing. On my yesterdays session it worked much better and kite was not luffing anymore, at least not that often. I think i reduced the luffing with 60pct. BRM claims th...
