CaptainCore is the same person as PinkNorthPride, and GraemeF.

He is the Core distributor for the UK.
Wrong, CaptainCore = jumptheshark!

Re: Fireball & Swivel Danger

Well, with annual recalls you should start scratching the back of your head about those testing methods... There's a reason I don't use it. Tried it, don't care for it. Same for the recoil and overdrive bars. Works like shit. Kites are fine, but nothing special imo. Fine. But then again, I don't ge...

Re: Fireball & Swivel Danger

I'd rather ride gear that I trust the company to actually test before it's released. And if there turns out to be some faults, recalls it immediately in stead of waiting a year or longer (when people are starting to get hurt, snapping fronlines anyone?). And stop trying to reinvent the wheel every ...

Had my fireball setup for more than 50 sessions now. I would not go back to the old loop. Far better.
Can you explain what is better in your opinion?

Re: Naish Pivot 14m vs Cabrinha Contra 13m

Hello, Can you please tell me how well the combination of Cabrinha Bars are on the Pivots? I have heard you have to use pigtails and stuff. Also, I am thinking of the Cabrinha Fireball instead of the chickenloop bar. Do you know if that too should work the same on the Naish Pivot kites? Thanks. ......

Re: Pivot Unbaised Review. Good Kite For Surf?

Totally disagree w Bartolo and agree w Xray. I'm coming off Neos, probably the best wave kite in the world and Pivot is right there. If Naish's marketing department didn't tell you there was a better drifting kite, you'd never notice the difference. I've slacked the lines tons of times, bombing dow...

Re: Pivot Unbaised Review. Good Kite For Surf?

Would like to solicit an unbiased review from someone on the Naish Pivot. I only ride waves, all kinds of waves. Looks like the Slash is the Naish wave-kite, but my thoughts are that the Pivot will go upwind better??? It's critical for me to have a kite that goes upwind easily. I know a lot of guys...

Should be clear now that he has no affiliation with these brands whatsoever, so be nice and respectful.

Re: Eleveight RS: My Review

If you tell me I can buy a 10m that flies at 6 knots, my only (two-fold) question to you is, “so what is it made of and how fragile is the material?” We always talk about stability vs. agility but equally important is performance vs. durability. But I’m always open to having my mind blown on the wa...
