Re: Plate or Box (and Which Box)

For what it's worth, Taaroa Joy will also be available with KF at some point.

Re: Hydrofoil Pro Tour in LA Ventana

There were six races completed yesterday in light wind.. 6 to 7 knots.. so 17 and 18 meter foil kites were all that worked. Results are at Http://hydrofoilprotour.info/results/ The wind looks quite light today so far... CG That page also has a cool list of all the equipment each rider is on....

Have a look at the Open Air versions from Aeros. They are reinforced snowkites made for gliding.

Re: Snowkiting Gliding Fatality

Some of the snowkites from Aeros are available as "Open Air" versions made for gliding. They don't handle much different though, it's mostly about stronger materials. From their website: "OA kites have reinforced canopy structure, stronger suspension and main flying lines, additionally secured pulle...

Re: Slingshot Foiling Flight School Update

I use a 2.9kg F-One 47 carbon race board coupled to a Sword 2, don't know the total weight (I guess 5.5kg max) but it feels pretty light. Re: Cool snowkite accident.

Re: New Race Kites?

The R1 is on sale at -25% some places, so an R2 is probably just around the corner...

And don't forget about all the other companies that are also getting into race kites: LF Elite, Aeros Compi, Zeeko Helios(?), Storm Thunder, North(?) etc.
