Re: one strut vs strutless

I recently updated my Cloud C2 quiver to a Cloud D quiver. It is pretty amazing how tight the canopy is on the D. I can't see any reason to add one or more struts to a D Cloud. On the C2 you had to keep tension on the rear lines to prevent flapping. This is not the case with the D. Thanks to the del...

Re: Durable board recommendation?

I have the Nobile Skim Foil board that I am really liking. Wood core, ABS rails, and full deck pad. Should be very hard to damage. Only negative is that it is a bit on the heavy side.

Re: Honest review of BRM Cloud kites

I recently upgraded my 4m to 12m C2 quiver to a 3.7m to 10.4m D quiver. I have not flown the C.5 Clouds and have only ridden the 3.7m, 4.8m, and 8.0m D's so far. All sessions were on a hydrofoil. I think there 3 main physical differences: delta shape, really tight leech, and new bridle. Performance ...

Re: Foils that fit the Nobile Split board pattern

I have the Nobile Skim Foil board and the Zeeko White and Black foil.

Not sure about the carbon Zeeko foils but the aluminum foils fit 165X90mm or 160X85mm.

Re: Looking for a good kite for Foiling, any tips?

I was hydrofoiling on my 3.7 Cloud D in gusts to 35mph today. Definitely turns very well fully depowered with slack rear lines. Drift is also improved with the new delta shape. It just hangs there while you ride straight at it.

Re: Which 9 pump for HF freeride/freestyle ??

I recently purchased a new quiver of Clouds and I'm selling my C2 Clouds. 4m, 5m, 7m and 12m are still available. Please see my ads on ikitesurf if anyone is interested. I would be happy to ship them overseas if they are paid for with PayPal.

Re: Alternatives to Dwarfcraft 42" board

I'm liking my Nobile Shim foil. Nice length, good thickness under the front foot, decent amount of nose rocker, and a nice amount of flotation for my Zeeko White and Black foil. Just had an awesome strapless wave session on it. I don't have a scale but it is a bit heavier than my BRM Paipo. https://...

Re: Help picking first foil

I've been foiling since August and I'm very happy with my Zeeko White and Black. I learned with the Carver wing which made it a bit easier to get up on the foil. I switched to the Black wing as soon as I could foil through transitions.

Re: Adjustable straps that work recommendation

These are my favorite. I've been using them for many years. Loose enough for 7mil boots. http://www.northshoreinc.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=118&idcategory=107 For learning to hydrofoil I would recommend a single foot hook on the front. Other than the cost I really like these: http://www.nor...
