Re: Need advice regarding surfboard

thanks for your input!

I'll take notice about the size. For the high end winds I'll continue to use a TT so that part will not be a problem.

Need advice regarding surfboard

Hi, I'll start using a surfboard as a complement to twintip and would need some advice regarding size and thruster vs quad. I can get a good deal from Crazyfly but aren't sure if I'm on the right track for my choice of board. My weight is about 154lb and I'm riding in winds from 10kn to 40kn. Waves ...

Re: Choosing kitesurfboard for wave riding

hi, I'm also looking for a kite surf board but wondering if it's possible to use the same board for normal surf? One of my choices are the CF Thunder 6.2 2013. One thing I miss on that board is the possibility to select between thruster and quad setup. Anyone that have tried thunder in normal surf (...

Best spot right now in Gran Canaria?

I'm in Las Palmas on Gran Canaria right now and wondering if anyone can advice about best spot for NE winds?
It's not so much wind but I may be possible if the forecast is correct.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Swiss does rob you for overweight!

When I was about to travel from Sweden to Sri Lanka the airline wanted about 400 Euro one way :( I skipped my board and put the kite in a suitcase for no extra charge :) and then rented a board much cheaper. Anyone that have used the board which could be separated in two parts and then put in your n...

Re: Ocean Rodeo Surf Dry review

@starsky, I'm one of those that starts first with a dry suite :) That was because I started with snow kiting. First I had a OR pyro but since two years I have a surf dry and I just love it. I normally have two layers of clothing underneath it, and so far I haven't been whet from incoming water or of...

Re: How to jump and change travel direction?

I agree with toby, go slower and redirect your kite in the opposite direction from zenit when you start to descend.

Re: Ocean Rodeo Soul drysuit, now showing at Surfexpo!

I use the OR predator and is very happy with it. It's not so easy to get it on but it's nice when you surf. Warm and no problem if you drop into the water and need to swim. When you are finished with the session you are completely dry underneath. I can imagine that the Soul can be a bit harder to sw...
