Re: Have we reached "peak kite"?

1. I really don't understand why adjustment of the trim is so important. You basically do it 1-2 times a session. It's Solving a problem that doesn't exist. Biggest beef I have is line wear, so I'd like to see some material innovation. 2. I work in smartphone industry, and it's flattened out because...

Hi, Live in Malmö and Vejbystrand for last 32 years, kiting 14 years. Check winds on windguru app or site. DMI ( DANISH METEOROLOGICAL INSTITUTE) has good app too. Winds are low pressure driven now. Very active Core group of 20 guys and about 50-60 of us occasional. How...

I've been following it a awhile and when I saw the young guys here trying it out and getting going, I reached the tipping point and a ordered one. Peter Frank said all-in or nothing, which is pretty much what kiting ...

Re: DIY Board advice please - connection point

You are headed the wrong way, waste of your time. But if you insist, you should ADD material to bottom to create recess. You can use cell Core or Divinycell 80 kg/m3. Glue it down, route out recess and fair it nice. Cover with several layers glass wrapping edges. Gonna have to consider boards materi...

Re: 12m C-shape that rides like a 12m?

Well, does it have to be a full on C kite for your biggest size? I rather ride a 12m XR4 as my biggest kite then go with any of the C shaped 14m or 15m kites. Once you go smaller, sure, pick your favorite C-shaped. I find delta shaped kites like Evo or XR4 are very much fun to ride in 12m size. I a...
