Re: Kite Surfboards vs "normal" Surfboards

Like everyone else says, they have a higher strength...which make them heavier and have less flex. But don't worry about the weight or flex if you haven't been surfing and kitesurfing for a while. Other stuff 1. Another endorsement for buying a cheap shortboard and just riding. $100 or less is perf...

Re: Foot Hooks Rip Off MHL Deck

Buddy of mine ripped a hole in his deck using foot hooks ...apparently it tore the anchor off the glass. Anyone else have this issue? Wonder if spring tension would be better.. I broke a foot hook by landing on it while doing a tack. Did your friend use two screws and the metal plate thats used to ...

Re: Original Liquid Force to Learn

I learned on an original LF Foil Fish setup and thought it worked fine to learn on even with just the full mast. I just switched to the longer fuselage and I really wish I had that while I was learning. If you get the original LF setup, I would highly recommend starting with the longer fuselage. It...

Re: Too much power?!

It will depend on your kite and/or foil, also the amount of current in your area (it can make a lot of difference for the waterstart on marginal winds!), but from my experience (freeride, not racing), anything over 12m is overkill. With a 12m and decent skill (not pro) you will be able to go as long...

Re: Upgrading my foil setup / LF foil fish

Thanks for all the responses! I think I might go the zeeko route, but will first change my current board, to probably the happy foil board or the alien air, since they are quite small and manageable. Will the zeeko mast connect to those rails on those boards?

I just got one 150 with 32" mast

That's expensive!! Put's me out of US$ 2,500. If I sell my current LF foil setup for US$ 500-700 I'd still have to chip in 2k.

Re: Upgrading my foil setup / LF foil fish

I can't get any of them where I live, I gotta get them shipped from the US doesn't matter which one it is. What online shops carry the Zeeko? I normally buy at MACKiteboarding but they don't seem to have it.

Upgrading my foil setup / LF foil fish

Hi!! Starting to finally enjoy foiling after being a bit more consistent with time on the water. I've been going earlier to the beach to catch the lower wind and I've really improved, to the point that I'm looking to change a few things on my setup now that I know better about foiling. My target is ...

Re: Safety Alert: Cabrinha 2017 Power Bracket Seat Replacement

That point of connection was problematic in the 2016 bar already, but no recall issue. The metal stopper being replaced in this video is where the junction gets blocked from passing through the hole. The junction is squished into a ball (because all the pressure of that flying line is held in that p...

Re: What new tricks to try?

Thanks guys! This is all really good stuff! Toby didn't know about your app, I really like your moves and will definitely buy some episodes to get some insight, although I won't be out on a 17m kite on 20kts like you do to add extra hangtime haha!! longwhitecloud! Nice content, I watched and the vid...
