Re: Question for LF Fish Foil owners

Thanks for the tips!! I did take it apart and two bolts are seized, but they're on the plate that connects the mast to the board, so I can still take it apart and put it on the bag without much trouble. Wonder why LF didn't put some of that product on the bolts or a tube of it with the board!! I th...

Re: Question for LF Fish Foil owners

Thanks guys! I found the info you mentioned. I apologize as I admit I didn't think that there would be a hydrofoil section on the site.

Seems like I have to take more care of the bolts not seizing than water going into the mast :/

Question for LF Fish Foil owners

Hi!!! I just took out my new fish foil out for the first time with some small amount of success at riding it and trying this foil thing. Carrying back to the apartment I noticed there's water coming out of the mast. Is this normal, or should it not happen? If it shouldn't happen, what can I check on...

Re: Wave kites and upwind

It's going to depend a lot on your style and also on the wind you have at your spot. Also on what part you want to sacrifice. I ride twintip and also surfboard (not extreme waves) and my quiver is a 9m drifter wave kite and 12m switchblade all round kite. Depending on wind and waves, I choose my set...

Re: GoPro Session - PoS or warranty case?

What memory card are you using? I had this happen on a gopro black 3 and it turned out the memory card was not fast enough writing the data. I found this because it would record 720p correctly but 1080p stopped after a few seconds. When the card can't keep up with the camera it just stops recording.

Re: 2016 Switchblade, any reports.

Thanks for reply's. I think I will stick to my original plan and keep 8m ,10m SB, and 12m ,14.5 Flite . The 12m Flite is an awesome kite, very fast , boost great, light in the hands. It does become a handful when overpowerd, but at that point I will be on the 10m SB... I would say stick to that unt...

Re: 2016 Switchblade, any reports.

I have the 2016 12m, as well as a 2014 9m and 2014 11m. This is my first 12m kite. My impressions comparing to my other kites: - Starts moving slowly, but then accelerates through the turn very fast. - Because of that, it completes loops quite well, but it loops a bit differently than the 2014's. - ...

Re: Kite not flying straight, what to check for?

My friend had this problem with their 2015 drifter, which may be similar to yours, or at least worth checking. (They are a sponsored rider) The swivel was also not working as well as new. They figured out it was caused, not by uneven line stretch but from looping the kite one direction a lot. This ...

Re: Kite not flying straight, what to check for?

My guess from your details would be some sort of twist in the bladder. Does the leading edge seem out of shape at all. Try laying inflated kite on a hard flat surface to check. Good luck matth, that's a really good thing to check, I wouldn't have seen that as where I'm kiting where I rig it's windy...
