Re: Storm voyager 4

I fly Storm Voyagers 3 strutless. Both 12 and 15. I use them for foiling. In my opinion the 15 is useable in much less wind than the 12. I'm app. 80 kg and riding a Moses Fluente and Vorace setup. I know you can move a smaller kite faster around, but a downstroke with 30 m lines on the 15 gets you g...

Re: Reviews: Moses' 2017 Line Up

Hi Pedro I rode a 550 for a while and love it. I also have a 558 set up. No doubt that the 558 go a little faster and point a little higher also. If I want to to go on a "trip" I use the 558 and if I want to play I use the 550 set up. It's pure luxus because you can use both wings for distance and p...

Re: Gong strutless (9m) bar pressure

Hi guys

As faklord I also ride Storm Voyager 12 (and 15) and Gong strutless 9. I like them all for foiling. The Gong 9 is very light on the bar, soo you will not regret getting one.

Re: Moses T40 board - replace the board foil connection from bolt through system to screw in?

Got the same setup myself. When I connect foil and board I use three smal screwdrivers and put them through board and foil. Then it's all lined up and no problem attaching the first bolt. Just a hint.....

Re: Tips for drilling a board

Drilled new holes in a Moses T20 board for bigger foilplate. Bought a massive nylon stick 25 mm. Cut for pices in lenghts as the board thickness. Drilled Four holes new holes in the board and epoxy laminated the four nylon plugs into the board. Drilled holes for the platescrews in the nylon plugs. F...

Re: Strutless 12 or 15?

Hi guys I own and fly a Storm Voyager 15 and a Gong 12 both strutless. There is no doubt that the Storm Voyager get you foiling in less wind than the Gong !!! Further more the Storm Voyager 15 is much easier to relaunch than the Gong even it's bigger. That was a big surprise to me. Proberly due to t...

Re: Solo 12 vs Breeze 13 vs Mono 12

Hi Faklord Spot on. I bought the Storm Voyager 15 m2 because I use it for foiling in low wind. Thought that the Gong 17 would be to big. Before my Gong 12 m2 was my biggest kite for low wind foiling. I could foil ok. from app. 3.5-4 m/s, but if the wind dropped and it often does in marginal wind, I ...

Re: Solo 12 vs Breeze 13 vs Mono 12

Hi Carsten I bought the Gong direct from the Gong dealer in France. They have a big home page and sell all kind of kitesurf stuff. Right now you can get the Gong strutles with a 30 procent discount. I like them a'lot. Of course extremly light. Stays up in no wind, easy to pump/pack. Very easy to han...

Re: Storm Voyager 3 ?

I have a Storm Voyager 3 15 m2. Use it for foiling in low wind. Guess I'm game from 3-4 m/s. It hangs in the air and stays up in almost no wind. I had it in the water a few times and thought it would be a pain in the a... to relaunch, but it more or less relaunched by it selves. Much much easier to ...

Re: Solo 12 vs Breeze 13 vs Mono 12

I had a quiver of Solo's6.5-9-12 m2. I used the Solo 12 as my low wind kite on a foilboard. If the wind dropped to 5-6 knots it could be hard to keep the kite in the air. I changed to Storm Voyager 15 and Gong 9 and 12 m2. Strutless kites. I never had them fallen down due to lack of wind. If the Sto...
