Re: Stethoscope to detect small leakage?

If there is a warm parking garage (even shopping centre) near-by or kitefriend has a hall or rent a warm diy hall for an hour..

I did find similar slow-leaking one-pump cap with soap water and spray bottle. Spray and compress the bladder to maximize inside pressure to find the leak.

Also, aluula is a very slippery material and coupled with the lighter weight, the kites will slide much more than regular Dacron leading edge kites.

Re: Virtual assistant to launch foil kite in very high winds

Sometimes you don't have sand, you don't have place, or you want to launch from a boat... Anyway.. I doubt any other launch process being safer to take off in the upper range of your kite. Low-med winds water bottle is anough for tip weight. Even light snow if wind does not get under the kite. So I...

Re: 20m LEI Kites - Its Time

If I had a 20+, I cold at least add 20-30 sessions, minimum 500 tricks more, I would have hit 11.000 by now If you had a foilkite you would have 30000 tricks by now with all that time to do longer/more complicated combos.. Also on Jamie's video 2:50 first time me seeing "Jesus dip" https://www.yout...

Re: Kite Helmet

The helmets protect you from hitting your board or a hard object. For big hits in the water i feel like they are a disadvantage as it increases your surface area It shows that you don't understand fluid physics. Water is concrete tough when in speed. For big hits with water your helmet protects you...

Re: Flare Moustache vs. foil kite

Have a look on Youtube for the 15-year old vids from "flyingcloclo". He was doing fantastic stuff back then with his FS Speed kites. I think he got more or less involved in the idea of the Moustache then. Here is another video where Flysurfer Speed3 21m is converted to a parakite with glider harnes...

Re: Flare Moustache vs. foil kite

Here is a video from friend who uses kites and moustache. There are many videos of moustache used as parakite etc so check all videos on his yt-page. Intro texts are in Finnish but videos are not spoken. https://youtu.be/J9I_cX6QJ-k?si=v2oPIRJdCZjnxXau But to answer, sure you can fly with foilkite b...
