Re: 30.4m Jump on Woo?

Usually Woo registers waves as jumps of 1-1.5m. I believe so is here. But what is weird if you look jump timestamps of 20+ meter jumps you see wave jump at the same time. For example 30m jump there is 2s wave jump 2s before high jump. And this pattern is with all over 10m jump that very weird 'overl...

Re: GPS Action Replay - Help

My guess you need to define wind speed also to view polar.

Map - you need to create your own map background.

Re: How high are you pointing upwind? Are 30° already possible?

Speed3 was designed to be much more user friendly. Speed2 would have been a much better race kite. Neither is mid AR. That's why I put it on quotes: ' medium ' AR foil kites like Flysurfer Speed3. At the time (2010) Speed3 was one of highest aspect available and a race oriented kite. But with today...

Re: How high are you pointing upwind? Are 30° already possible?

The angles you guys show above, is that with a foilkite or a tube (low or high AR) ? Makes quite some difference in my experience. It has been a known a decade old fact from ice sailing Wissa competition that any tubes nor 'medium' AR foil kites like Flysurfer Speed3 did not have any change against...

Re: Sonic FR 11 Long Mixer Test

Rule #1 is to swap spare-part lines (yellow) if kite is flying badly. Spare-part lines are wear parts. On non-maintained kite I have broken several of those when going for jump.. Then check bar lines are equal in length. Now do the mixer test & reset. If still behaving badly I'd contact factory and/...

Re: Doors instead of foil for summer days?

If you decide to go with TT direction, also check Radical Transformer board with dagger center fin.

If you go with foil check fb kiteracing2hand group if suitable 2nd hand foil can be found for your wallet.

Re: When to go for a tube vs. for a foil kite for Airstyle

Also depends if you have space on your local beach or if it dangerous. Foil needs a bit more space IMO. I've different claim. Foil kite does not need beach at all. Enter water, unroll the kite and launch. And land kite to water, roll and exit. -- About visual power level you can see top airstyle ri...

Re: New to Foils, bought a Pansh A15 12m

Foilholio, post a video of A15 used 50-200 hours on it, how you re-tune kite against shrinkage (mixer align or something else) and breath through the fabric if you can. How you replace bridle-part etc. BTW. I still see Speed3 used on water videos - after 10y of introduction and after 5y (or somethin...

Re: New to Foils, bought a Pansh A15 12m

I think Pansh reputation is earned one by disappointed purchasers getting 200USD "kite". I know people outside of Kiteforum which had ordered Pansh - tried to tweak it with high hopes that I can do it and finally quit - it cannot be fixed. Now his Pansh is probably keeping fire wood dry. I am not sa...
