Re: Dakine has no customer support

To Twah and Surfboy, I have been to my local dealer who claims that Dakine handles all the warrenties and that I am to contact them directly. What is up with the hate? I do realize that resolution will not happen on a global forum but companies do need to be accountable. If they are bypassing warren...

Re: Dakine has no customer support

Hey CaptainArgh, I have no ill feelings towards Dakine nor am I pissed with Greg the Canadian distributor. All that I want is a resolution to this problem and for them to honour their warrenty. Even a simple reply back to indicate that I can go screw myself and that they do not want to help me would...

Dakine has no customer support

Hey I am not sure how others have found Dakine for their customer support but I have been sending some many emails looking for them to honour their warrenty and they will not respond. I made the mistake in buying one of their bags that has a lifetime limited warrenty on manufactor's defect and I hav...

Re: Tulum Mexico first hand reports?

Tulum is great but you are also only about an hour away from Playa Del Carmen and a ferry ride to cozumel. I would use the collectivo's from tulum to Playa and hit the ferry to Cozemel (a very nice place to kite).

Re: 2009 wainman vs 2009 best kahoona for beginners

It seems very apparent that the Wainman kites are the ones to go with. I would have thought that people would have suggested the Kahoona's for ease of use but it appears that the rabbit series is just as easy to use.

2009 wainman vs 2009 best kahoona for beginners

My wife and I have just recently got into kiteboarding and I am looking at the following kites to buy. We learned on the 2009 best Kahoona's and they were very nice kites. I have some very good deals on two opposing kite companies and I am unsure what would be a better buy. I am smitten with the loo...

Kite lessons in Varadero Cuba

Hey,

A group of us are heading to Varadero and looking at getting some lessons for those who have never kitesurfed. Is there any proper places that are certified that provide lessons and gear?

air rush xpact138 or Slingshot glide

I am new and we have light winds here in the summer in Ontario and I am looking for a good light wind board that is going to allow me first to be able to go upwind well and second c...

A few questions for the more seasoned riders

I have boughten my trainer kite and I am in the process of picking up a 12M and 15M Cabrinha Omega HD. I am currently 6ft, 200lbs and will be riding here in Ontario this summer. I am going to have lessons first so no need to worry that I am looking to self learn. I am wondering if they are good kite...
