Re: GoPro Hero 8 about to release?

Learning more with each design! I tried to design/center everything properly this time around. Still having issues centering curved shapes that are sized differently but the mount is symmetrical. This new shape works REALLY well for 3d printing, almost no flaws while printing (relative to the print...

Re: GoPro Hero 8 about to release?

Brain fart. Do I really need those long ass tubes? Sending this to the printer right now. Might get rid of them completely and print an angled rubber stopper insert that bends the line a little and prevents slippage. Perhaps not as stable as long arms but a better view? Guess I can just cut them of...

Re: GoPro Hero 8 about to release?

So the Rylo got the same error, no software for computers? There are almost no "apple" things around here, it is windows or mobile phones, and the latter is useless for big video takes (and again, no Apple things around). Anyone knows if there is a solution for this now, or we have to wait for a be...

Re: tack on the snow

Its a lot easier with a foil kite, especially with a race foil like the Ozone R1. But I have managed to do a few with an inflated kite.

Re: GoPro Hero 8 about to release?

Here is a video taken with the GoPro Max and the U.Go linemount: https://vimeo.com/388844425 Sometimes the arms of the mount are visible in the video, which is a bit annoying. I've found this alternative linemount which is similar to the U.Go mount but with shorter arms, which should make them less...

Re: Electricity!

Yes, I had a similar experience at Skyline. We had low clouds moving in and I noticed a sharp pain in my hands and feet. Other riders noticed it as well. It got so bad that we all put our kites down. After about 30 minutes the clouds cleared away and we were able to ride without pesky static electr...

Electricity!

I was out snowkiting on Houghton Lake in Michigan today, and it was snowing. At one point I started feeling a sharp stinging sensation at the base of my thumb, like I had a pine needle in the glove. Then the same sensation started in my toes. It got really intense, then passed in about half a minute...
