Re: Difference between Nobile 50/fifty and NHP boards?

THE ROCKER makes a huge difference. The NHP is silky smoooth in crud and pops well but its SLOW in comparison to the 50/Fifty. I'm 86kg and rode the 137 NHP and the 50Fifty pretty much back to back. For a 90kg rider go with the bigger 50Fifty. The NHP ride is easier and the boards tracks upwind more...

Re: New to forum, help please

So you think you might be a fast learner. Taking 14 pages of Replies on a topic before you finally back down doesn't seem fast. You'll be bored with a trainer kite 5 minutes after you grasp how to control it. So spend it on lessons or a helmet ! Living on a popular kite spot we witness hideous accid...

Re: I need advice about Nobile XTR 140 VS 143??

Franz All light wind boards are flatter in profile so they are more likely to spray you. You'll never really jump high either as you are kiting in next to no wind. 140 for your weight, the 143 does feel the extra weight as the extra width is along the whole length. Better option is to go for a skim ...

Re: Slingshot Turbine 2013

OK, didn't have the 2011 or 2012. I heard the 2011 was a bit of a dog but worked in low winds. I'm 90kg and ride a skim in 8 knots quite easy in the tropics on my 2013 Turbine. It turns reasonably quick for a 17m and has a remarkable ease to its flying. Whne the wind picks up, its not a scarey thing...

Re: Where should i go to learn in mid february?

Jacob, Mui Ne offers great gusty winds and choppy deep water which is not ideal to learn in. Boracay, Philippines. Voted Travel magazines no1 island http://www.ocean-republic.com/read/4/boracay-voted-best-island-in-the-world As well it has steady trade winds, shallow sandy lagoon and everything is w...

Re: 2013 SS Rally question

Easy starter point. Connect identically on all 4 lines, ie ALL 1st or ALL 2nd. or ALL 3rd. Differeng the length relatively between front and rear merely changes the power a little, but cmpared to the depower throw on the bar and the position of your course depower with your cleat its relatively insi...

Re: Did Shannon Best jump...

This is exactly what I'm talking about: http://www.realwatersports.com/2011-best-taboo A 9m or 10m kite for $399! If that was the every day price for all Best kite models and sizes; they would be the most common brand used. Price sells. RTZ, i clicked your link and by the time you click the 9m size...

Re: Luzon Philippines

The west coast will have many spots, if you can find roads to get to them. It is a 3rd world country. I'd advise not to drive at night (i've experienced this). Kingfisher up the north is the most well known spot. Mmm camping. Locals are friendly but very poor in the provinces so you might look like ...
